For the first time in Special Olympics Pennsylvania history, we have raised MORE THAN $1,000,000 in a single fundraiser!
It's because of this incredible yinzer community that we achieved this remarkable milestone. We did this TOGETHER. All to support the amazing athletes in the Three Rivers Region and provide free access to sports, health and leadership programming for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is what it’s all about.
To every Plunger, to every person who donated, to every person who supports Special Olympics Pennsylvania, THANK YOU. The 2024 Polar Plunge is one we will never forget.

More than 4,300 Polar Plungers gathered last weekend at Acrisure Stadium to participate in the 2024 Pittsburgh Polar Plunge, which now holds the record as the single largest fundraising event in Special Olympics Pennsylvania history!
