Opportunities are Available for Non-Competing Athletes at Fall Fest

Non-Competing Athletes Needed at Fall Fest: SOPA is in need of non-competing athletes from Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia County to do one of two things. No prior Athlete Leadership experience is needed for either opportunity:

• Survey Conductor: Athletes and their support person (family member, caregiver, coach, mentor or anyone else age 18+ that’s not an athlete) will have the opportunity to interview their peers by asking a series of multiple choice and open ended questions in SOPA’s event evaluation survey.
  • After the event, the athlete and their support person have the opportunity to review and address the feedback they received with the Fall Fest Evaluations Committee and SOPA Senior Competition Director, Bruce Bach.

• Awards Presenter: The Fall Fest Awards Committee is looking for non-competing athletes to help emcee and present awards at the conclusion of competition! Similar with Survey Conductors, athlete would need a support person to attend with them.

Athletes from outside the greater Philadelphia area are also welcome to pursue these amazing volunteer opportunities, however, please be aware that they are to not only have a support person, however, they are also responsible for all travel expenses.
