The 2025 Pittsburgh Polar Plunge is the coolest event in the Three Rivers Region! Come chill at Acrisure Stadium on the North Shore on Feb. 22nd to experience the magic of Plunge and support Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes at the same time! Every dollar raised helps support vital programming for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- 9 am: Registration opens
- 10:45 am: Opening Ceremonies & Safety Briefing
- 11 am: Plunge begins
- 11:30 am: Registration & Merch close
Happy Hour Plunge

Proud corporate partners of the Pittsburgh Polar Plunge are welcome to join us at the Happy Hour Plunge presented by Calgon Carbon happening outside of PNC Park at the Mazeroski Way cul-de-sac.

From 2-4pm, enjoy live entertainment by Fireside Events and refreshments from Southern Tier and Pittsburgh Brewing Company in the VIP tent while plunging in the new Special Olympics Pennsylvania’s mobile plunge unit.
Pittsburgh Cool Schools Plunge
February 21, 2025 // 10 am - noon
“Cool Schools” Polar Plungers are teams of kindergarten through high school students who plunge, raise funds, and raise awareness for Special Olympics together! Registering as a “Cool Schools” team is a great team-building experience and an awesome way to support Special Olympics athletes within your school community!
10 am: Plunging begins
Plunge Town will feature music, dancing and the following vendors:
