The 2024 Northwest Polar Plunge is the coolest event in the Northwest Region! This year, we'll be celebrating 10 YEARS of plunging into Lake Erie!

Come chill at Presque Isle State Park on Nov. 9th to experience the magic of Plunge and support Special Olympics Pennsylvania athletes at the same time! Every dollar raised helps support vital programming for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Join us for the first ever Frozen Footrace 5K! Warm-up with a 5K around Presque Isle at 10 am before plunging into the frigid water at 12 pm!

Northwest Happy Hour Plunge

Join us for the 2025 Special Olympics Pennsylvania Northwest Happy Hour Polar Plunge in Erie, Pennsylvania!

After you plunge, join us for a time of celebration at the Pier 6 Rooftop Bar & Restaurant!

End the work week with a fun way to team build and network for a great cause!

Northwest Cool Schools Plunge

“Cool Schools” Polar Plungers are teams of kindergarten through high school students who plunge, raise funds, and raise awareness for Special Olympics together! Registering as a “Cool Schools” team is a great team-building experience and an awesome way to support Special Olympics athletes within your school community! Stay tuned for more information!
