Join Special Olympics Pennsylvania and Wawa this Saturday, Feb. 11 at Citizens Bank Park for the Pre-Game Polar Plunge! The first 1,000 guests will get Wawa “Go Birds” swag bags and first 500 to plunge get “Go Birds” t-shirts plus a $25 fundraising contribution from Wawa!

What to Know
> General Registration is $50; all registrants will receive the Philadelphia Plunge 2023 T-Shirt.
> Show up ready to plunge in proper attire on plunge day.
> Jump into a chilly pool outside the stadium for the athletes of Special Olympics Pennsylvania!
Not Plunging?
> Spectators can cheer on individuals and teams from the viewing areas and join us in PLUNGETOWN for food and entertainment! Non-plungers can also register as “Too Chicken to Plunge” with a one-time $50 donation in support of our athletes.
Schedule
Cool Schools Plunge – Friday, February 10, 2023
- Arrive starting at 9 am - 12 pm
- Bus parking at designated locations
- Open ONLY to middle schools and high schools
Business Lunch & Plunge – Friday, February 10, 2023
- Business Lunch starts promptly at 12:30 pm
- Business Plunge starts around 1:30 pm
General Plunge – Saturday, February 11, 2023
- Registration opens at 9 am
- Opening Ceremonies start at 11:15 am
- Plunge starts around 12 pm with our Law Enforcement Teams and Special Olympic Athletes
- Includes College/University Plunge teams
POLAR POP
> Pop a water balloon filled with cold water over your head, or over the heads of friends and family members, to show your support of Special Olympics. This option is open to everyone and is perfect for people who are unable to attend the in-person plunge.
> Commit to register $50 and get your t-shirt; Pop shirts will be shipped by March 31, 2023.
> Post about your Pop on social media using #PhillyPlunge and challenge others to register and join in the fun!
