Interscholastic Unified Bocce
Congratulations to our 2026 State Champion: Chartiers Valley!
Interscholastic Unified Sports is a fully inclusive high school program with teams comprised of a proportional number of students with and without intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. These student athletes train and compete together as equal peers, and proudly represent their school like other varsity teams. There were 490 Unified bocce teams from 325 high schools that played throughout the winter season in 926 competition matches. Teams advanced through league playoffs and regional championships to get to the state championship.
Special Olympics Pennsylvania proudly partners with more than 570 schools in 63 counties throughout the state through the Unified Champion Schools (UCS) program. Additionally, Special Olympics Pennsylvania is grateful for its valued partnerships with the PIAA and the Pennsylvania Bureau of Special Education.
