Overview & Description

Our bocce program helps athletes with intellectual disabilities develop basic sport specific skills, improve communication and build friendships in an inclusive environment. Participants learn rolling techniques, strategy, and teamwork at their own pace with encouragement from coaches and teammates.

What to Expect:

  • Warm-up exercises and stretching
  • Skill development and fitness drills
  • Focus on health, nutrition and fitness
  • Team composition will be age & skill based
  • Team practice and scrimmages 1-2 times a week
  • 8-10-weeks of training and competition
  • Several competition and tournament opportunities within the Region and across the State
  • Sportsmanship and teamwork building
