Overview & Description
Our Walking Club program helps athletes with intellectual disabilities develop healthy habits, improve fitness, and build friendships in an inclusive environment. Participants meet weekly to walk or participate in a fitness activity together, socialize and focus on improving their health.
What to Expect:
- Warm-up stretching
- Learn about Healthy Habits
- Walks or fitness activity scheduled at least once a week
- 8-10-weeks of active sessions
- Social gatherings and friendship building
