A “Cool School Team” is a team from your school who plunges together, fundraises together and raises awareness for Special Olympics athletes – including those in your own school! It is a great team-building experience and opportunity to strengthen your school community!

It’s easy to form a “Cool School Team!”

  1. Choose a Team Captain: a COOL teacher, coach, advisor or other faculty member
  2. Gather your team: grab 10 classmates, teachers, co-workers, friends or family members
  3. Pick a COOL team name.
  4. Register your team.
    • Each team member has a $35 minimum fundraising goal.
    • There is no up-front registration fee for students.
    • If you don’t want to plunge, sign up as a “Too Chicken” on your Cool School team.
  5. Registration "How-To" Guides:
  6. Don’t stop there! Challenge rival schools or clubs within your own school to Plunge. The team that raises the most money will be will win ULTIMATE bragging rights and a trophy to display at school!

All students under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign this waiver and bring it to the Registration Tent at the Plunge.
