Plunge Season is Around the Corner
Polar Plunges around the state raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Pennsylvania and the 16,000 athletes that we serve. "Freezin' for a Reason," plungers from all corners of the state run into frigid lakes and rivers or jump into icy pools. Spectators can cheer on individuals or teams from the viewing areas, and join us in the Plunge Towns for food, entertainment, vendors, kids’ activities and more. This season, participants also have the opportunity to be a virtual plunger and take the Polar Pop by popping a cold water balloon over their heads!
Jumping into freezing cold water not for you? Sign up under "Too Chicken to Plunge," raise funds and stay dry while enjoying Plunge Town.
