Susan Wyland, Exiting Chief Financial Officer

We can’t overstate the contributions Susan made during her nearly 6 years with SOPA. She joined the organization when we were in the middle of implementing centralized accounting. Whether it was working with our Board, staff, and volunteers to implement that important and transformative change; leading our reorganization task force; guiding the development of our new strategic plan; working with our Board to select new investment advisors and moving millions of dollars in assets into more appropriate investments; or leading and overseeing our daily financial, HR, and administrative matters, we could always rely on Susan.

Dan Reardon, New Chief Financial Officer

We are pleased to announce that Dan Reardon has joined us as our new Chief Financial Officer. Dan has spent the majority of his career in the nonprofit sector, including more than 20 years at Elwyn where he served in a variety of leadership roles including CFO and COO. We are looking forward to working with Dan as we embark on our new strategic plan and implement our statewide reorganization. The future is very bright and we are excited to partner with him to capitalize on those opportunities.

Charla Stein, Healthy Communities Coordinator

We are also pleased to announce that Charla Stein has joined us as our Healthy Communities Coordinator. Charla is a registered dietitian with a passion and commitment to ensuring all people live a healthier life.

The Healthy Communities Coordinator is a part-time position that will support all of our Healthy Communities efforts to include: Healthy Athlete coordination of events, Healthy Athlete follow-up care, the Provider Directory, Healthy Habits and the SO FitNow app.
