Vaccine Education Toolkit for Local Programs

As many of you are aware, Special Olympics encourages everyone who has access to the COVID-19 vaccine to get vaccinated. Therefore, in addition creating a Vaccine Education Center on the SOPA website, we have also created a Vaccine Education Toolkit for Local Programs in an attempt to educate as many athletes as possible with your assistance.

Within the toolkit, we provide materials that can be used to educate athletes about the Covid-19 vaccine in a variety of ways:

• Newsletter/email blurb
• Telephone call script
• Social media images
• Webinar slides
• Vaccine information for individuals without Internet access
• Videos of our athletes answering basic Covid-19 vaccine questions

Please help us to spread the word about the vaccine as the eligibility for all rapidly approaches. SOPA will also be sending a mailing to all athletes that will include brief facts; and, we will inform programs if there are any Covid-19 vaccine clinic opportunities in your area.
