SOPA Staff Changes - January 2019
WELCOME NEW STAFF
Michael Jordan, Manager of Interscholastic Partnerships - Philadelphia
We are excited to announce that Michael Jordan has joined the SOPA - Philadelphia team as our new Manager of Interscholastic Partnerships!
Michael has been involved in the Philadelphia IUS program for the past three years as a Unified Bocce and Unified Soccer coach at Abraham Lincoln High School. His previous experience includes serving as a paraprofessional in a deaf/hard of hearing life skills classroom, intensive emotional support classroom assistant, and high school varsity soccer coach at Lincoln and Holy Ghost Prep in Bensalem, PA.
Please join us in welcoming Michael to the SOPA team!
Eric Cushing, VP of Marketing & Development
After 10 years of leading our development team and significantly growing our revenues, Eric has moved on to become the first Executive Director of the Philadelphia Police Foundation. This is a great opportunity for him and we wish him the best. But, we will certainly miss his leadership, dedication to our mission, love for our athletes, and infectious positive attitude.
Kristie Davis, Program Manager – Area M
After 5 ½ years as the Area M Program Director, Kristie Davis will be leaving SOPA to take a Development Director position with JDRF Central PA Chapter.
Her last day will be Saturday, January 26th so that she can finalize and support the Area M Polar Plunge which is occurring on that date. Her desire to coordinate her start date with her new employer to be available to support SOPA through the Plunge is another example of the dedication she has displayed to the Area M program as their Program Director. Her leadership, professionalism and warm personality will be missed.
