Corporate partners are essential in helping Special Olympics fulfill its mission. Through
the generosity of cash, in-kind donations, volunteers and awareness, we are
able to share the power of sport with the world.
Currently, our movement has partnerships with The Coca-Cola Company, Procter & Gamble, Mattel, Hilton, Finish Line and Safeway. On a local level, TD Bank, Sheetz, Inc., Aerotek, Geico,  and Wawa are a few of the companies that create brand preference and drive sales by partnering with Special Olympics Pennsylvania (SOPA).

As a corporate partner, your company receives a variety of marketing and recognition opportunities that can generate results in:

  • Reaching an under-indexed niche audience
  • Increasing sales, market share and merchandising opportunities
  • Networking with influential decision makers
  • Enhancing your corporate image
  • Increasing product awareness through sampling and brand presence
  • Linking your products and services to an inspiring cause
  • Positively impacting employee morale and productivity
  • Strengthening ties with shareholders

Partnership with Special Olympics equals good corporate social opportunity and good business return directly to the bottom line.  Rather than focus on a corporation’s social responsibility to communities, Special Olympics opens the doors of opportunity for corporations which impact their consumers, staff, image and business practice.

As a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization, SOPA relies on corporations to ensure the continuation of its programs. Special Olympics is not an agency of the United Way, is not funded by the Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Foundation, and does not receive significant funds from the government.

Special Olympics is the largest international program of year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely related developmental disabilities.  With the help of more than 40,000 volunteers, coaches, family members, and partners, Special Olympics Pennsylvania serves nearly 20,000 athletes in the Keystone State. Special Olympics is offered at no cost to the athletes.  It is through companies like yours that make the program possible.
