To improve the quality of the events we offer, we have begun implementation of some new competition processes and procedures for our Sectional and State Competitions.  Please click on the link below to familiarize yourself with these changes as well as an important reminder about the requirements for coaches (and other Class A volunteers) to attend Sectional and State competitions.

2013 Competition and Training Changes and Reminders

Sectional Competitions

Sectional competitions are hosted by Special Olympics Pennsylvania for each training season (summer, fall, winter) in each of the three sections of the state (west, central, east).

State Competitions

Special Olympics Pennsylvania hosts the following state level competitions:
Summer Games – normally held at Penn State University in early June
Fall Festival – normally held at Villanova University in late October or early November
Winter Games – normally held in Johnstown, PA in February
State Floor Hockey Tournament – normally held in Wingate, PA in March
