The Unified Fall Festival Torch Run (#UnifiedTorchRun) for Special Olympics PA is a segmented non-competitive run (approx. 26 miles in total) with 18 segments ranging from a ½ mile to 3 ½ miles, beginning on Friday, Nov. 10th at 9:30 a.m. The Run will kick-off from Citizens Bank Park before weaving its way throughout the city to the Philadelphia Art Museum. After traversing nearly 13 miles of the city, the run heads into Bala Cynwyd and through the heart of the Main Line to Villanova, PA. All proceeds benefit SOPA and the largest student run Special Olympics event in the world, the annual Fall Festival at Villanova University.

The Run will be led by members of the Philadelphia Police Department and other local law enforcement partners and will include SOPA athletes, unified student partners, event sponsors, political supporters, civic leaders and many other members of Philadelphia and the surrounding community, all of whom will take part in this unique and inspiring journey. The Unified Fall Festival Torch Run also serves as a run in memory of fallen officers from across the state and officially ends when the Flame of Hope lit the cauldron during Opening Ceremonies at Villanova, on Friday evening.
